What is pharmacology?

Pharmacology is the science of how drugs interact with biological systems. Another way to describe it: pharmacology is the study of how drugs affect the body and how the body affects drugs. The science of pharmacology is important to many areas of study in medicine, including dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, and veterinary medicine.
