Have you ever had a big test to prepare for but didn’t know where to start? With practice tests galore and other professional/career resources, PrepSTEP is a great resource available to you through the South College Library. To access it from the library website, you will go to the Resources tab, then databases. On this page, you can find it either in the list of databases on the left or in the box titled “Database Highlight.” Clicking on that link will then prompt you to sign in with your South College credentials and then you’ll be in the database.

PrepSTEP offers categories such as math and science skills, career preparation, basic computer skills, and so much more; they also offer study materials available in Spanish. If there is a particular subject or exam you’re trying to study for, you can make use of the search feature at the top of the page to find specific results.

With your account, you can access “My Center” which is where you will find any practice tests you have taken, tutorials, microlessions, eBooks, videos, AWS courses, articles, and any flashcards you’ve viewed.

Once you click on a topic, such as “ATI TEAS Preparation” you will see at the top different boxes that are either checked off or blank. This is showing you what resources are available to you for that subject. I’ve included an image below showing what this looks like.
