Instructions for Individual Account Creation

Create Your Student WSJ Account

  1. Click the Wall Street Journal link. 
  2. Sign into the library to authenticate as a South College Library patron.
    1. Change the drop down menu from Staff to Student.
    2. Sign in with your Canvas username and password. 
  3. On the following screen, you’ll create your WSJ account. 
    1. Confirm your name and South College email address. 
    2. Enter an estimated date of graduation. 
    3. Your South College email address will be your WSJ account login. 
    4. Use your Canvas password for the new WSJ account password.  

Once your account is created, the website will ask you several questions about your interests. You can click on the homepage menu to skip that part. 

You can use your new account to sign in to the WSJ app and the WSJ website without going through the library website. 

Create Your Faculty/Staff WSJ Account

  1. Click the Wall Street Journal link. 
  2. Sign into the library to authenticate as a South College Library patron.
    1. Sign in with your network username and password. 
  3. On the following screen, you’ll create your WSJ account. 
    1. Confirm your name and South College email address. 
    2. Your South College email address will be your WSJ account login. 
    3. Use your network password for the new WSJ account password.  

Once your account is created, the website will ask you several questions about your interests. You can click on the homepage menu to skip that part. 

You can use your new account to sign in to the WSJ app and the WSJ website without going through the library.
