Please complete the Faculty Request form if you wish the library to purchase materials for students to use while taking your courses. The more information you can supply, the faster we can locate your request.
New materials may be requested at any time during the quarter. The library will notify you when your request has arrived or if we need additional information.
To request a Collection List for your school/department, please contact your subject librarian.
Library materials from one location can be delivered to another campus location by placing a request with a library or resource center staff member, or completing the Library Delivery Request form. Materials checked out can be returned to either campus.
Placing Items on Reserve
Each library and resource center maintains a reserve collection for faculty to place personal and library materials on reserve for their current students to use. Items are held at the circulation desk. Most reserve items are for in library use only but faculty may choose to allow students to take materials home for a set amount of time. Reserve materials are removed from the collection at the end of each quarter and returned to the faculty or the library collection.
To place items on reserve, please speak to a staff member and fill out a reserve form.
Audiovisual equipment is available for faculty checkout through the library department. TV with VCR/DVD, LCD projectors, and remotes for classroom projectors are available for reserve on a first come, first served basis at both campuses. Please contact your local library/resource center to reserve equipment or see the library Reservations page. Students who need audiovisual equipment for class presentations may make reservations through their course instructor.
This orientation module focuses on library services and resources for faculty. For general library orientations and program orientations for students, please see the orientations on the library's Orientations page.
