New Films in Swank Campus

by James Gill on 2020-08-15T08:00:00-04:00 in Films | 0 Comments

Two new films have been added to the library's Swank Campus holdings:

Akeelah and the Bee

Akeelah is an uplifting tale of a girl (Keke Palmer) striving to become a spelling champ. Laurence Fishburne and Angela Bassett co-star in this film written and directed by Doug Atchison.

Wonder

Jacob Tremblay plays a 10-year-old boy with a facial deformity attending school for the first time when he begins the fifth grade. With the support of his parents (played by Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson), he learns how to make friends and adjust to his new environment. Based on the best-selling book by the same title.

Links to the films are available on the Swank Campus Guide.
