ID Cards are made in the Resource Center
ID cards are able to be made in the Resource Center during Staffed Hours. You should have your ID card with you at all times. Your ID card is necessary to check out materials and to borrow laptops. In order to make copies or scan using the printer in the Resource Center, you will need your full 10-digit number that can be found on your ID card.
Did you know? Your ID card is also your library card!
Laptops are available to checkout at the Resource Center using your Student ID. If it is your first time checking out a laptop you must sign a Laptop User Agreement Form and this form will stay attached to your account. Laptops check out for four hours at a time and then need to be returned.
Laptops are checked out on a first come, first serve basis, and will need to be checked out at the Resource Center desk. You may reserve a laptop by calling the Resource Center and can reserve it for the next day or for later in the quarter. In addition, you may reserve a laptop by sending an email by clicking the email me button on the bottom right corner. With a laptop you can directly print to the student printer in the Resource Center.
There are five study rooms that are available to reserve at the Resource Center. Rooms can be reserved by library staff, faculty, or students for instructional sessions, testing, interviews, meetings, or study groups. Rooms must be reserved online using the online request form, which can be found on the library website. Rooms are reserved on a first come, first serve basis, and a reservation confirmation email will be sent to the requestor once the room request has been approved.
Student reservations are limited to a two-hour maximum during each part of the day and a two-hour gap is required to book a second room; back-to-back reservations are not permitted. If the room has not been reserved after the two hours are finished, the student may remain in the room.
The instructor is required to submit the reservation request at least 48 business hours before the exam should be proctored. Reservations submitted on the weekends will be addressed on the following business day. Reservations are taken on a first come, first serve basis; it is highly recommended that instructors make reservations as early as possible in the quarter.
Please complete the Test Proctoring request form. The link is listed below to access the form.
Any changes to the appointment should be communicated by the instructor as soon as possible to the Resource Center. For rescheduled appointments, the Resource Center staff will do their best to accommodate the new requested date and time, when possible.
