ID Cards are made in the Resource Center
ID cards are able to be made in the Resource Center during Staffed Hours. You should have your ID card with you at all times. Your ID card is necessary to check out materials and to borrow laptops. In order to make copies or scan using the printer in the Resource Center, you will need your full 10-digit number that can be found on your ID card.
Online students can request an ID card be mailed to them. To request an ID card, send a headshot photo, a photo of your driver's license for identification purposes, your South College ID number, and your mailing address to idcard@south.edu. Please note, your headshot needs to be your full head and shoulders, you must be facing front, no hats or sunglasses, and no social media filters for an approved ID photo.
Student printing at the Nashville Learning Site is located in the Resource Center.
A dedicated computer and student printer are available for student printing during the access hours of the Resource Center. The Resource Center's student laptops are also set up to print wirelessly to the student printer. Printing costs 3 cents per page. Currently, printing is only available in black and white.
Adding Money to a Print Account
Students can add money, or credit, to their print accounts online with a debit or credit card. To add money to your print account, go to Papercut and sign in with your Canvas username and password. Click "Add Credit" in the menu on the left and follow the prompts.
For additional information about Student Printing, please see the Student Printing Information from IT linked below.
