Women's Health: Health Disparities

Health Disparities

Women face significant disparities in healthcare, often experiencing underdiagnosis, misdiagnosis, and delayed treatment for conditions like heart disease and autoimmune disorders. These disparities are exacerbated by factors such as socioeconomic status, race, and ethnicity, leading to poorer health outcomes and increased mortality rates for women compared to men. Addressing these disparities requires increased research funding for women's health, improved medical education on sex and gender differences, and equitable access to healthcare for all women.
