There's a vast amount of information at our fingertips, but getting the best information can be challenging. To get the best information, you need skills. You need to be information literate. According to the American Library Association, information literacy is a set of abilities requiring individuals to “recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information.”
