Searching the Library

Not sure where to get started with the research for your final paper?  The Library Search is a single search box option to find articles, books/ebooks, videos and other items in the library’s online and print collections. The Library Search is located at the top of the library homepage. Like Google, enter your keywords and hit search to get started. Library tutorials on how to search can be found on the Tutorial page, and in the “How-To Video Tutorials” menu.  Stuck and not finding the right articles?  The library’s Ask a Librarian chat button is embedded in the interface for quick access to a Reference Librarian for help!

Did you know?

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is available when you need resources not included in the library’s subscriptions or for free online.  ILL is a borrowing service used by libraries to share materials from all over the world.  Your ILL Librarian will request copies of articles and books for you from other libraries.  Using ILL is as simple as filling out a request for an article or book. Article requests can be filled as quickly as a day or two, with books arriving in the mail at your local campus library in 1-3 weeks.

Citation: References Help

Need citation help for a finals paper or project?

Chances are that your instructors have asked you to use a citation style like APA or AMA when writing a paper or even citing references in a PowerPoint.  Need help?  The library has guides for both APA Style and AMA Style, as well as librarians ready to help you review and edit your in-text citations and reference lists.
