Did You Know?

Faculty Information Page and Library Orientation

The library website includes a Faculty Information page that provides information about our library’s resources and services for South College faculty. Here you’ll find information about room and testing reservations, interlibrary loan, library instruction opportunities for your students, research assistance for those of you who are doing research, and more. Additionally, the library offers a self-guided Library Orientation for Faculty. All new instructors are encouraged to complete this orientation.

Make an Appointment with a Librarian

You can make an appointment with a librarian to get help with your professional research and finding information resources for your courses. Librarians can provide assistance and suggest search strategies to help you find the information you are looking for. Appointments can be had in-person or via Zoom. To schedule an in-person appointment, contact the librarian at your campus or schedule an appointment via Zoom with any of our librarians using the “Make an Appointment” button located on the Faculty Information page in the Online Appointments box.

Exciting News!

Google Scholar’s Library Links

Now you can search and find scholarly journal articles in our South College Library’s databases through Google Scholar. It’s easy to set up. Go to Google Scholar>Settings>Library Links and search South College. Then click Save.
