Faculty Information Guide
Just in time for the new academic year, the library is proud to roll out a brand-new Faculty Information guide! Our new guide brings together a wealth of information for faculty about library services and resources from requesting resources and providing instruction, to recommended resources on topics like information literacy, EDI, and OER. We hope this new guide will provide you with a central location to learn about all the things the library provides to support your teaching needs.
Faculty Requests for Purchase
The library budgets to purchase new materials and resources for faculty and student use throughout the academic year. Faculty are encouraged to contact their program librarian to discuss new books, ebooks and materials to support their courses. A Request Form is available on the Faculty section of the library website. Don’t forget, material requests can come from any faculty member.
Resource Highlight
PrepSTEP Microlessons
The library’s subscription to PrepSTEP for College and Universities has added new microlessons to its offerings. Microlessons include short-often under ten minutes- interactive lessons to help learners develop their math and reading skills at their own pace. New topics include probability, ratios, making inferences, word problems and more. PrepSTEP can be found on the databases link under the resource tab on the library website.
